This building has a special history that dates back to 1869. Built by merchants, two families lived in this house and for some time there was a shoe factory. Grand Street was the only street in Brooklyn facing the East River.

The studio has a special simplicity and intimacy so that you can not be distracted by the outside world and focus only on what is important - on yourself and your practice.

As for our space, it is truly unique - Panoramic windows let in daylight throughout the day creating a unique atmosphere of tranquility and joy. The noise-insulating glasses protect us from the outside world, allowing us to plunge into our own practice. The open space complemented by a variety of plants creates an opportunity for mental, physical and spiritual growth, which is so important in our beautiful city. We can't wait to plunge you into this space.

    Meet Sarah! 🤍🌿

She grew up in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. She was introduced to yoga in 2005 when her mother completed a teacher training program in their hometown.

While she enjoyed accompanying her mother to classes, it would be years until she dedicated herself to the practice. In 2010 Sarah moved to NYC, and discovered the practice as a deeply healing and vital aspect of her life - yoga exposed her fears, doubts, strengths, and potential.

In 2014 Sarah completed her 200-hour teacher training. Soon after she apprenticed to teach the traditional hot practice and later completed her advanced training with Science of Self for her 500hr.

During her teaching career, Sarah taught well over 3,000 classes, managed one of the highest-trafficked yoga studios in the country, and assisted in over a dozen teacher trainings.

Sarah's classes are powerful, playful, and heartfelt. Her experience offers grounded support as she guides both beginners and seasoned practitioners through challenging moments and uplifting sessions.🕊️
