  • Yes- Yoga is for everybody! Don't let a lack or flexibility or strength turn you off to yoga! Everyone starts somewhere, and in every single YS yoga class, we encourage you to do whatever it is you need to do to feel comfortable. Let an instructor know you are new to yoga, and we will be happy to show you a few basics and how to modify any pose to make it work for your body.

    GETTING STARTED

    Yoga makes you feel great in body, mind and soul. It strengthens, challenges, relaxes, and opens your mind. You’ll find that your flexibility is increased and your sleep becomes deeper.

  • We suggest wearing form-fitting clothing similar to what you would wear at a gym, bring a bottle of water, hand towel(optional), and a yoga mat. Don't have a yoga mat? We provide free Pro Mats! For some of classes like HIIT Pilates and Yoga Sculpt we recommend to bring your own Mat Towel or You can rent from us $3. We also provide filtered water to refill your personal bottle. Refrain from wearing perfumes, essential oils, or strongly fragranced lotions.

  • You are in the right place! The heat will help open up your muscles so you can stretch safely and prevent injury.

  • Most people notice some changes even after their very first practice. Remember that every body is different, and your yoga journey is just as unique as you are! The more you practice, the more benefits you will see.

  • We recommend at least 2-3 classes per week for progress. Practice as often as you’d like! Just be sure to take care of yourself by drinking plenty of water, listening to your body, and taking rest days when you need to!

  • Is this your first time practicing yoga or maybe this is your first time back in a studio? No problem, all of our classes are open levels and are designed in a way for everyone to follow along and receive the many benefits of yoga, regardless or your age or fitness level.
